The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1892 right next to the Glenfiddich distillery and is still in family hands today. Connoisseurs appreciate the soft single malts of the distillery, which as one of the few in Scotland still operates its own malt floors. Balvenie produces - rather atypical for the Scottish Speyside - also smoky whiskey. Rare Discovery from Distant Shores & Nbsp; first matured in former bourbon barrels for twenty years and then received a seven years in Caroni-Rumfässern. Filled with 48 vol. %& nbsp; alcohol, without dye.
