The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1892 right next to the Glenfiddich distillery and is still in family hands today. Connoisseurs appreciate the soft single malts of the distillery, which as one of the few in Scotland still operates its own malt floors. Balvenie produces - rather atypical for the Scottish Speyside - also smoky whiskey. Toast of American Oak first matured in former bourbon barrels before he was burned into fresh barrels from American white oaks, which were burned down twice. Filled with 43 vol. %& nbsp; alcohol.
