The Duncan Taylor company was founded in Glasgow in 1938. Over the decades, the independent bottler built up close relationships with distilleries throughout Scotland. The company largely brought its own barrels to the respective distilleries and had them filled with New Make. This led over the years to enormous barrels, from which Duncan Taylor still creates excellent bottlings. Smoke, tree resin and hay.
