The Aberlour distillery, located in the town of the same name in Speyside, Scotland, was built in 1879. The distillery is known for its bottlings, which mature in American bourbon casks and Spanish sherry casks. A special flagship is the barrel-strong A'bunadh.

Aberlour 18 years Double Sherry Cask matured in a combination of European and American oak casks. Finished in Oloroso and PX Sherry Casks. Bottled at 43 % abv.

Aroma: Fruity sultanas combined with notes of orange peel, dried cranberries, toffee rolls and dark chocolate. Black currant and plum jam.

Taste: Rich and fruity again with hints of chocolate covered raisins, along with hints of liquorice and accents of freshly ground nutmeg.
