The Karuizawa Distillery founded in 1955 was in the Japanese city of Miyota, at the foot of the Mount Asama, an active volcanic area at about 850 meters . The distillery was mothballed in 2000 and closed a year later. Filling of the distillery are very popular with auctions and often provide 6-digit amounts.

Karuizawa 12 years matured the entire time in oak barrels. & Nbsp; filled with mild 40 % vol. Alcohol.
